Morrisons has announced its opening hours for the Christmas 2025 period, with most stores maintaining consistent schedules while some may vary by location.
On Christmas Eve, opening times will differ depending on the branch, but the majority of Morrisons stores will be open from 6am to 6pm. All stores will be closed on Christmas Day to allow staff to celebrate.
Stores will reopen on Boxing Day, typically operating from 9am to 6pm, welcoming shoppers looking for post-Christmas deals and essentials.

For New Year’s Eve, stores will slightly extend their hours, opening from 7am to 7pm. On New Year’s Day, most locations will return to a standard 9am to 6pm schedule.
Customers are encouraged to check specific opening times for their local Morrisons using the store finder tool.
In addition to the Christmas hours, Morrisons has introduced a ‘Club 60’ initiative offering special dining deals for shoppers aged 60 and over. This includes a Small Breakfast at any time of day for just £6, featuring sausage, bacon, fried egg, hash brown, Heinz Baked Beanz, toast and butter, plus any refillable hot drink.
Over-60 customers can also enjoy a £10 Afternoon Meal Deal from midday onwards, which includes fish and chips, bread with butter, a slice of cake, and a hot drink—delivering notable savings and great value.
With 344 cafés nationwide, Morrisons caters to its diverse customer base by providing affordable in-store dining options. The new ‘Club 60’ offers aim to support older shoppers during financially challenging times by creating a welcoming community space paired with hearty meals at wallet-friendly prices.
