Owners Wayne Barsby and Claire Sheasby expressed their frustration and disappointment, addressing the culprits directly with a firm message: “Don’t come back.”
In a candid social media post, the pub’s management wrote: “To the scumbag J+S, scrawling your initials is a childish and disrespectful thing to do to our new furniture. We hope you’re pathetically proud of yourselves. Please don’t come back.”
They emphasized that the damage was caused by adults, not children, stating, “We don’t have unsupervised children, sadly I think these were adults - or supposed to be.” The owners highlighted the significant time, money, and effort invested in upgrading the lounge, expressing their disappointment over the senseless destruction.
