McArthurGlen Designer Outlet West Midlands is set to expand its retail offering with new stores opening before the end of 2026, according to the centre’s manager, David Jackson. In a recent interview with BirminghamLive, Jackson confirmed that the centre is currently in discussions with several brands interested in establishing a presence at the Cannock-based outlet.
Since celebrating its fifth anniversary in April, McArthurGlen Designer Outlet West Midlands has continued to thrive. Since its official opening on April 12, 2021, the outlet has welcomed over 15 million visitors and now boasts a fully occupied retail space featuring notable names like Coach, Nike, BOSS, Levi’s, and Tommy Hilfiger.
Despite the full roster of retailers, Jackson disclosed that new additions are on the horizon. Among his dream brands for the outlet are a Marks & Spencer Outlet, Pandora, and Nando’s, all of which are subjects of ongoing talks.

“A dream brand I would love to see at McArthurGlen Designer Outlet West Midlands is Marks & Spencer’s Outlet,” Jackson said. “We’re also in conversations with Pandora and Nando’s, which is really promising.”
He added, “This year, we will absolutely be opening more stores, with further announcements to come.”
Jackson expressed confidence in the success of existing brands, noting their strong performance at the centre. He emphasized the outlet’s strategic positioning between experiential and physical retail, aiming to provide guests with top brands at a consistent 30% discount year-round.
In addition to retail expansions, the centre is exploring diverse additions such as padel courts and pilates studios, enhancing the overall visitor experience.
Located just off Eastern Way in Cannock, approximately 30 minutes from Birmingham, the outlet was granted planning permission in 2016 and opened to the public in 2021. The current tenant mix includes names like Fred Perry, Calvin Klein, Ted Baker, Radley, Le Creuset, and Yankee Candle, alongside its flagship stores.
The centre operates from 10am to 8pm Monday to Friday, 9am to 8pm on Saturdays, and 10am to 6pm on Sundays, continuing to serve as a premier shopping destination in the region.
