This weekend, visitors to the Lindt store at McArthurGlen Designer Outlet in Cannock can enjoy some complimentary treats as part of a special campaign. In collaboration with Macmillan Cancer Support, the store is promoting ‘Pause for a good cause,’ offering shoppers a free chocolate and coffee when they mention a secret phrase.
Research commissioned by Lindt reveals that 63% of Brits wish they could spend more time with loved ones, although nearly 40% feel too busy to connect as much as they would like. This sentiment is even stronger among millennials, where over half (57%) report the same.
Despite busy lives, small moments of connection-such as sharing a coffee or a chat-are valued by many, with 72% acknowledging they support mental wellbeing. Adding a sweet treat also enhances mood for almost two thirds (64%).

From Friday 25 September to Sunday 27 September, groups of two or more visiting the Lindt store at Cannock Designer Outlet can say “Pause for a good cause” when purchasing coffee to receive a buy-one-get-one-free offer. Additionally, each person will receive a complimentary Lindt CHOCO WAFER Milk Hazelnut treat bar to enjoy.
This initiative supports Macmillan Coffee Morning 2026, the charity’s annual fundraising event that unites people over coffee and conversation to raise vital funds for those living with cancer. Lindt proudly serves as the exclusive confectionery partner for the event.
