A violent brawl erupted in Manchester’s Piccadilly Gardens on Halloween night, October 31, drawing widespread attention and concern.
Disturbing footage circulating on social media shows a chaotic scene involving multiple individuals attacking two men, with onlookers capturing the mayhem on their phones. The video reveals harsh kicking and punching amid a growing crowd, underscoring the severity of the altercation.

The recorded video begins amidst the violence, documenting two men repeatedly assaulting another individual. One attacker, dressed only in shorts, continues the aggressive onslaught while a hooded figure intervenes, striking both the shirtless man and his companion, sparking a separate confrontation.
The brawl intensifies as the shirtless man suffers a facial wound, bleeding profusely while others join in the assault, with one attacker even using a crutch as a weapon. The chaotic scene garners commentary from bystanders, including a man wearing a Christmas hat who watches the violence unfold.
Towards the end of the footage, the main individuals leave Piccadilly Gardens but are pursued closely, after which the video ends.
One of those involved, YouTuber Cozzy Media, described his experience, saying he initially filmed two people before someone threw a drink at him and the situation escalated. “I was punched and kicked,” he recounted.
Cozzy Media painted a grim picture of the area: “Piccadilly Gardens is a dangerous area. I saw two females and tried to diffuse the situation, but it escalated within minutes. I was just trying to help, and then I was attacked. I hope everyone involved is okay.”
Addressing footage that shows him punching one of the men involved in the head, Cozzy Media admitted, “I had a concussion. I was confused. I had just been leathered. They threatened to stab me. I should have just walked away, but I didn’t know what was going on until I saw the video online later.”
This incident highlights ongoing safety concerns in and around Manchester’s city centre, particularly during busy and festive nights.
