Shamal Baiz, aged 34, was Tasered twice by police after he charged at officers wielding a knife outside a house of multiple occupancy (HMO) in Wolverhampton. The incident occurred when officers responded to reports of a disturbance at the property. Upon arrival, Baiz confronted the police aggressively, brandishing the weapon.
Despite warnings, Baiz continued his advance, forcing officers to deploy their Tasers to subdue him. He was subsequently arrested and charged with assaulting a police constable and possessing a knife in a public place. Baiz later pleaded guilty to the charges.
