A man was seriously injured in a stabbing incident near the Greggs shop on Smithford Way, Coventry, early Thursday morning. West Midlands Police were called to the scene just before 8am on November 27 after reports of a disorder.
Upon arrival, officers discovered a man in his 40s with knife wounds to his neck and arm. He was promptly taken to hospital for treatment, with injuries that are not believed to be life-threatening.
Following the initial investigation, police arrested a 34-year-old man on Stoney Stanton Road around 10am. The suspect remains in police custody as inquiries continue.
