A 20-year-old man tragically lost his life following a stabbing attack in broad daylight on Abbotsford Drive, located in Nottinghamshire’s St Ann’s area. The incident occurred just before 1pm on Monday, November 10.
Emergency responders arrived promptly but pronounced the victim dead at the scene. Police have established a cordon around the area as they continue their investigation.
Chief Superintendent Nick Waldram emphasized the dedication of detectives working around the clock to identify those responsible. “Our thoughts are with the victim’s family at this incredibly difficult time. They are being supported by specially trained officers," he said.

Waldram urged anyone with information, no matter how minor it may seem, to come forward. He reassured the community that this appears to be an isolated incident with no broader threat to public safety. Increased police patrols are being deployed to offer reassurance as inquiries proceed.
Nottinghamshire Police confirmed that a murder investigation is underway. They reiterated their call for witnesses who have not yet spoken to law enforcement to contact them. Information can be provided anonymously via Crimestoppers.
