Married At First Sight UK star Leah has finally spoken out about her new relationship with footballer Maz Pacheco. Following her high-profile split from Leigh on the show, Leah has moved on with Maz, a defender for Women’s Super League club Everton and former Aston Villa player.
Leah revealed to Nonchalant Magazine, “I’m dating a girl I’ve known for 13 years. She’s a footballer, and we’ve always kept in touch on Instagram and such. We reconnected properly after I finished the show, and it’s been really lovely.”
She added, “It’s great because she accepts me for who I am. She just wants to roll with it all. She’s really busy with her own commitments but has been incredibly supportive throughout my journey since the show aired.”

The romance reportedly grew in the months following the filming of Married At First Sight UK and the contentious split between Leah and Leigh. A source told The Sun, “Leah and Maz have known each other for years, but nothing romantic happened until after Leah and Leigh ended things. Leah did bump into Maz in public while still with Leigh, but it wasn’t anything romantic at that time.”
Leah and Leigh’s marriage was fraught with tension, rarely seeing eye-to-eye, and Leigh had accused Leah of flirting during the show.
Maz is an accomplished pro footballer, currently playing as a defender for Everton in the Women’s Super League. She began her career as an England youth international and signed for Liverpool at 17 before moving to clubs like Doncaster Rovers, Reading, West Ham United, and Aston Villa.
Alongside her athletic career, Maz earned a law degree from the University of Sheffield in 2020, balancing sports and education impressively.
