Loose Women’s Nadia Sawalha Cancels December Shows Amid Family Health Crisis

Nadia Sawalha, beloved presenter of Loose Women, has announced the cancellation of her December live shows, including her popular Coffee Moaning series and the podcast How To Stay Married (So Far), following a family member’s sudden hospitalization.

The actress had a busy month planned, with numerous live appearances alongside her husband, Mark Adderley. However, she revealed on Thursday via Instagram that she is prioritizing her family amid this unexpected health crisis.

In a joint statement posted with Mark, Nadia said: “Cancellation. We are very sorry but we have cancelled Coffee Moaning and ALL live shows on The Sawalha-Adderleys YouTube channel due to family illness. We will let you know more asap. Love Nadia and Mark xx.”

Fans and fellow celebrities immediately responded with supportive messages. Dr Amir Khan tweeted, “Sending love,” alongside a heart emoji, while many followers sent their best wishes for a speedy recovery.

Although the family member’s identity has not been disclosed, Nadia frequently shares updates on her YouTube channel, The Sawalha-Adderleys, where she and Mark post family and cooking content. In a recent video, Nadia informed viewers that her mother-in-law, Diane—affectionately called Nanny Di—was “quite poorly in hospital,” prompting an outpouring of support.

This announcement comes as Loose Women prepares for a significant scheduling revamp. Starting January 2026, the show will return to its former 12:30 pm to 1:30 pm slot and shift to a 30-day seasonal format. Filming will relocate to a new central London studio, and the live studio audience will be discontinued.

As a result, comedian Lee Peart will lose his role as the show’s warm-up act, a position he has held since 2017. Nadia expressed her sadness over this change during a Coffee Moaning episode, saying, “From next year there will be no Loose Women audience. I am totally devastated by this fact… Not only because the audience is so important for the show, but also my dear friend Lee who I work with every day.”

Despite these challenges, Nadia remains focused on her family and future projects, and fans continue to offer their heartfelt support.
