Leamington Spa Named Best Birmingham Commuter Town as Families Rush to Buy Homes

Leamington Spa has been named the top commuter town for Birmingham, as families compete to secure homes in this sought-after location. Known for its calm, leafy streets and lower crime rates, Leamington Spa offers the perfect blend of tranquillity and convenience — just a short 25-minute train ride from Birmingham city centre.

According to property website Rightmove, Leamington Spa tops the list of Birmingham’s commuter towns, with properties here generating 55% more enquiries than those within Birmingham itself. Other popular towns attracting house hunters include Warwick, Rugby, Solihull, and Wolverhampton, all easily accessible by rail or road.

These towns appeal to buyers who want a higher standard of living, including access to top schools and abundant green spaces, while maintaining an easy commute to the city. Wolverhampton, in particular, offers more affordable housing options paired with proximity to Staffordshire and Shropshire’s scenic countryside.
