Krispy Kreme Issues Urgent Recall of Pitch Perfect Doughnuts Over Undisclosed Hazelnuts

Krispy Kreme has urgently recalled its World Cup-themed Pitch Perfect doughnuts after discovering they may contain hazelnuts, an allergen not listed on the product label. The company, which operates multiple branches including one in Birmingham, has advised consumers with nut allergies to avoid consuming these doughnuts due to a potential health risk.

The recall affects both individual Pitch Perfect doughnuts and the Matchday Dozen pack, available in several locations. Krispy Kreme states this action is purely precautionary, emphasizing their commitment to the highest standards of product safety. The impacted products were sold on June 19 and 20, 2026.

Affected locations include Krispy Kreme stores in cities such as Peterborough, Leicester, Nottingham, Ipswich, Norwich, and Cambridge, as well as various partner locations. The Food Standards Agency (FSA) has echoed the warning, urging customers allergic to hazelnuts not to consume the recalled products. Those who have purchased the doughnuts can return them for a full refund, even without a receipt.
