Katie Price has opened up about her husband Lee Andrews, describing him as the “most hated man in Britain” during a recent podcast episode. Lee, 43, is currently imprisoned in Dubai, facing espionage charges, with Katie, 48, revealing details of his arrest and their first contact since his detention.
Lee was reportedly questioned by police in the United Arab Emirates, who suspected him of espionage activities, comparing him to a “James Bond” figure. Katie disclosed that she finally spoke to Lee following his mysterious disappearance earlier this month. The conversation, facilitated through Lee’s father, lasted only two minutes and is believed to have taken place from Dubai’s Al Awir prison, where Lee was allegedly arrested on May 14.
Initially fearing Lee had been kidnapped after witnessing him being restrained and taken to a “black site,” Katie later branded him “the most hated man in Britain.” During their brief call, she bluntly told him: “Don’t worry about it, Lee, just focus on one thing − you are the most hated man in Britain.” Lee responded with confusion, prompting Katie to explain that many believe the entire situation is a scam in which she might be involved. She assured him they would discuss everything once he is freed.

Katie described the ordeal as a “b****y nightmare” that has gone viral. Although she acknowledged her harsh words, she maintained they were truthful. Her sister Sophie, who co-hosts the podcast, thanked Katie for her honesty but later prohibited Lee from appearing on the show to share his side of the story.
In addition, Katie explained a brief incident when Lee’s social media account seemed active again. Lee had allegedly followed a US Navy veteran known as Marisol—an unusual move since he had only previously followed Katie. However, Katie attributed this to a probable glitch in Instagram’s settings related to Marisol reactivating her account. No messages were exchanged, and after Marisol blocked him, the follow was reversed.
