Katie Price has sparked speculation about a new romance just days after reports emerged that she and her boyfriend JJ Slater had parted ways. The media personality and mother of five, who had been dating JJ since 2024, appeared to drop a subtle hint about moving on in a recent Instagram post.
Katie and JJ’s relationship, which blossomed after Katie’s separation from ex Carl Woods, saw them go as far as getting matching tattoos just five months in. However, sources revealed that the pair split because Katie did not see a future that included marriage.
On Sunday night, Katie shared an enigmatic quote on Instagram: “The best love story is when you fall in love with the most unexpected person at the most unexpected time.” The post reignited rumours that the star may have already found someone new.

Katie has yet to comment publicly on the status of her relationship, though she appeared to allude to being single in a recent episode of her podcast, The Katie Price Show. Reflecting on past relationships, she said, “Years ago, I was always afraid of being on my own. I always felt I needed someone. How I am now, I always say, I don’t need a man. If I want a man, it’s because I want them. I don’t need a man, whereas years before, I needed a man.”
Insiders have revealed that JJ, who had hoped for a future with Katie, has already moved back to Essex following the breakup. A source told Mail Online, “She’s now accepted the relationship will not end with her walking down the aisle for a fourth time. JJ was left disappointed and has already packed his bags and moved back to his home in Essex. He genuinely saw a future with Katie, but it seems she ultimately had a very different outlook.”
Despite the split, Katie had previously spoken fondly of JJ, describing him as a “perfect gentleman” who “ticks every box.” JJ, a former contestant on Married At First Sight UK, commented on their relationship’s natural progression: “We met for coffee and met as friends, and we got on really well as friends and it developed from there, which was really nice. There was no pressure, we both just really fancied and liked each other.”
He also noted Katie’s kindness following his diabetes diagnosis, stating, “Kate actually reached out when she heard about my diabetes diagnosis saying she was really sorry to hear this and again, this is how something good has come from it… is Kate. She was being kind, which I appreciated and then it went from there…”
While their relationship may have ended, both Katie and JJ appear to have fond memories of their time together as they move on to new chapters in their lives.
