K-Pop Korner, a specialist K-pop retailer, has expanded its presence with a new store opening at the Mailbox in Birmingham. As one of the few dedicated K-pop outlets in the UK, this latest location marks an extension beyond their existing shops in London and Nottingham, responding to the growing demand for Korean music and merchandise across the country.
The family-run business officially launched the Birmingham store on 5 August with significant fanfare, attracting large queues and featuring an appearance by British K-pop boyband Dear Alice during the opening event. Situated on level two of the Mailbox, the store offers a broad range of Korean music merchandise, including albums, signed releases, and rare items sourced directly from South Korea.
K-Pop Korner aims to serve both seasoned collectors and newcomers to Korean pop culture, providing a welcoming space for all fans. Beyond retail, the company organises events such as photocard trading days, fan gatherings, and concerts to foster community engagement among K-pop enthusiasts.
