Jet2 has launched a convenient Twilight Check-in service for passengers flying out of UK airports, including Birmingham (BHX), during summer holidays. This new policy allows travellers with morning flights to drop off their luggage the evening before departure, between 4:30pm and 9pm.
The airline explains: “If you’re flying before midday and have already checked in online, you’re eligible to use our Twilight Check-in service. This makes your morning at the airport much easier since your bags will already be processed.”
With the free Twilight Check-in, passengers can bring their checked luggage to the airport the night before their flight. This is particularly helpful for those living near the airport or staying in nearby hotels, as it lightens the load on travel day.

To participate, passengers must complete online check-in between 28 days and no later than 24 hours before their flight, either via Jet2’s website or mobile app.
One member of a group can check in and drop off bags for up to six travellers on the same booking. They need to bring boarding passes, passports, and any required travel documents for everyone in their party.
For bookings with up to nine passengers, two people are required to check in the bags. Larger groups of ten or more will need to check in their luggage individually.
Jet2 confirms there’s no separate desk for Twilight Check-in; customers simply use the airline’s standard check-in counters at the terminal listed on their boarding pass.
Please note, Twilight Check-in is not available for flights departing on December 25 and 26 during the festive period.
This new service is designed to streamline departures and provide a smoother airport experience for Jet2 customers flying from UK airports.
