Jack Osbourne Poised to Join I’m A Celebrity Just Months After Ozzy Osbourne’s Passing

Jack Osbourne, son of the late Black Sabbath frontman Ozzy Osbourne, is reportedly set to join the upcoming series of ITV’s reality show I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here! This comes just months after the rock icon’s death in July at age 76, leaving fans and family members mourning his loss.

Following Ozzy’s passing, his wife Sharon Osbourne withdrew from the public eye to grieve alongside their children Jack, Kelly, and Aimee. Now, sources reveal that Jack has the full support of his mother and sister as he prepares to enter the famed jungle-based competition.

An insider told the Mirror, “He is believed to be going into the jungle with full support of his mother and his sister Kelly.” The Sun added, “Jack is very likely to discuss Ozzy, which will be an incredibly moving moment for the campmates and for viewers and fans of the adored rocker.” The show’s producers are reportedly thrilled to have secured Jack as part of the cast.

Jack Osbourne is no stranger to reality television. He first rose to fame on MTV’s groundbreaking series The Osbournes, which documented his family’s life. He later starred in Jack Osbourne: Adrenaline Junkie (2005-2009) and appeared with his father on History Channel’s Ozzy & Jack’s World Detour (2016-2018). His rich TV experience promises to bring added depth and emotion to this year’s show.

I’m A Celebrity is set to launch on Sunday, November 16, with Ant McPartlin and Declan Donnelly returning as presenters from the Australian jungle. ITV continues to keep the official cast list under wraps until the premiere.

Recently, Jack spoke about his mother Sharon’s emotional state during an appearance on Good Morning America. He said, “She’s OK, but she’s not OK,” and acknowledged the overwhelming outpouring of love from fans. “I know she feels the love. None of us expected it to be like this, with that outpour of love,” he shared.

Reflecting on his father’s passing, Jack added, “Every child sits there and kind of has this thought about one day that parents won’t be there, and what will that be like. But this was a different weight.”

Ozzy Osbourne’s health had been fragile in recent years, including a Parkinson’s diagnosis and a serious fall in 2019. His legacy as a pioneering rock icon lives on through his family and his fans worldwide.
