Jack Osbourne is gearing up to join the upcoming series of ITV’s I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here!, with filming set to take place in the Australian jungle this month. The 40-year-old will face tough challenges alongside a star-studded cast, all while living together in the wild.
This adventure comes amid a difficult year for Jack, who lost his legendary father Ozzy Osbourne earlier in 2024. The iconic Black Sabbath frontman passed away aged 76 on July 22, shortly after their Back to the Beginning concert at Villa Park.
Despite the recent family tragedy, Jack reveals that his mother Sharon and sister Kelly are fully supportive of his decision to take part in the reality show. Speaking candidly, Jack shared, “Mum and Kelly, yeah they are absolutely going to be watching. They are supportive.”

Leaving his loved ones behind will be one of the biggest challenges. Jack expressed how hard it will be to be away from his wife, children, and family. He said, “It’s absolutely going to be hard leaving them behind. I’ve got lots of kids, my wife, and my family still in the wake of my dad passing. It is going to be difficult, that is for sure.”
Jack noted that while he has been away for extended periods before—such as during nearly two months filming Adrenaline Junkie—he always had some way to stay in touch. This time, with limited contact, he anticipates it will be especially tough. “It’s going to be very difficult not speaking to my wife and kids. But yes, I do hope I can make my family proud.”
Although he admitted feeling “very nervous” about the experience, Jack is eager to embrace the challenges and jungle life. “I definitely had to think about doing this programme. It’s an absolute commitment, but the reason it’s so popular is that people at home wonder, ‘Could I do that?’ So I think a lot of why I said yes is the intrigue of how I would survive that,” he explained.
Jack hopes the experience will be transformative, reflecting on the profound impact the show has had on past contestants. “A lot of people who have done this programme have had a really profound experience.”
On his chances of winning, he remains humble. “It’s hard to say if I’m honest. But if you do win, it means a lot of people voted for you, which is very flattering.”
Joining Jack this year will be a diverse group of celebrities, including Emmerdale’s Lisa Riley, ex-EastEnder Shona McGarty, musician Martin Kemp, comedian Ruby Wax, TV presenter Alex Scott, comedian Eddie Kadi, rapper Aitch, and presenter Vogue Williams.
