Haven to Expand Popular Wetherspoon Pubs to Majority of Its 39 Holiday Parks

Haven Holidays is set to roll out JD Wetherspoon pubs across most of its 39 holiday parks, enhancing the staycation experience with affordable food and drinks. The partnership, which began in 2025, has already seen successful collaborations at locations such as Primrose Valley in Filey, North Yorkshire, and has expanded to Cleethorpes, Rochester, Exmouth, and Haggerston.

Simon Palethorpe, CEO of Haven Holidays, expressed enthusiasm about the growing presence of Wetherspoon pubs across the estate. “I definitely think there is an opportunity for the majority of our parks to have a Wetherspoons,” he said, signaling plans for widespread expansion.

In early 2026, Haven introduced new Wetherspoon venues including The Bluff Inn at Riviere Sands in Cornwall and The Alfred Wainwright at Lakeland Leisure Park in Cumbria. Palethorpe reflected on the positive guest response: “I could only have dreamed at that point that it would be this successful with our guests as it has been. We are here celebrating a million, but I expect it to be many millions in a couple of years’ time.”

In addition to everyday offerings, these pubs will broadcast the World Cup, making them a prime spot for football fans to enjoy international matches. Visitors can sample a range of global drinks, many from countries competing in the tournament, and take advantage of the food menu served until 11pm, including deals like 3 small plates for £15.
