Lily was discovered severely injured on Park Street around 9:50 pm on Wednesday, November 5. Despite the rapid response and efforts of medical professionals, she was pronounced dead at the scene.

Lily, described by loved ones as a beacon of light, laughter, and kindness, had her future abruptly cut short. The community continues to mourn the loss of a young woman full of dreams and promise.

In connection with Lily’s death, 41-year-old Mohammed Azim from Tividale Road, Tipton, has been charged with her murder. He appeared at Wolverhampton Crown Court on Monday, November 10, with a plea and trial preparation hearing set for December 16.

To help honor Lily’s memory and assist with funeral and memorial costs, a GoFundMe campaign has been launched with a goal of raising £2,000. The fundraiser’s introductory message, written by a relative, reflects the family’s grief and hope: “Our beautiful Lily Whitehouse was tragically taken from us at just 19 years old. She was full of light, laughter, and kindness, with many dreams yet to unfold. While we face this unbearable loss, we remain committed to seeking justice for Lily and celebrating her life with dignity and love. This fundraiser will cover her funeral and memorial expenses. Any remaining funds will be secured in a trust fund for her baby, ensuring Lily’s love continues to support and uplift her child in the years to come.”

The site where Lily was found remains a place of tribute, with flowers and heartfelt messages left by friends and community members. One note attached to a bouquet read: “Such a beautiful soul, taken away too soon. You will be missed by all. Sleep in paradise, beautiful.” Another expressed: “May you rest in peace. Gone too soon.”
