For families and flower enthusiasts seeking a charming way to spend a few hours, Flora Fields at Webbs of Wychbold presents an exceptional outing. Located just a 35-minute drive from Birmingham, this pick-your-own flower field has blossomed into a beloved summer destination for the third consecutive year.
Boasting over 5,000 dahlias across more than 60 varieties, Flora Fields is arguably one of the most colourful attractions in the West Midlands during summer. Visitors are invited not only to explore the breathtaking sea of blooms but also to select their own dahlias to take home.
During a recent visit with my mother and 18-month-old daughter, we were captivated by the vibrant array of colours ranging from soft pastels to vivid pinks, purples, oranges, reds, yellows, and whites. The flower aisles provided a sensory delight as my little one delighted in wandering through and smelling the abundant blossoms.

The venue is dotted with picturesque spots perfect for photographs, including a floral archway, neon signage, a striking hot pink 1947 David Brown Cropmaster tractor, and a giant hot air balloon. These features offer memorable backdrops for family photos and social media snapshots.
Picking flower posies added an interactive element to our visit, though guests are welcome to enjoy Flora Fields without making a purchase, making the experience accessible to all.
We thoroughly enjoyed our time at Flora Fields and plan to return before it closes in early October. It has quickly become a must-visit summer attraction in the region.
Flora Fields is open at Webbs of Wychbold until early October, weather permitting. Admission costs £6 for adults and £3 for children. Pick-your-own dahlia packages range from £7.50 for a child’s five-stem posy to an £80 showstopper with 80 stems. Visitors can also pre-order picnics or grazing boards to savour among the flowers.
Tickets are available via the Webbs of Wychbold website or at the gate. Throughout the summer, Flora Fields hosts various events, including masterclasses, sunset yoga sessions, family discos, and more, adding to its appeal as a vibrant community venue.
