Escape Hunt to Reopen in Birmingham City Centre After 16-Month Hiatus

Escape Hunt, a beloved immersive entertainment venue, is set to reopen in Birmingham city centre, more than 16 months after closing alongside the Priory Square shopping centre in 2025. The closure had left many businesses scrambling for new homes, including vendors at The Oasis Market.

The globally recognized escape room brand will relaunch at 36-38 Cannon Street by the end of July. The new venue will feature four exciting indoor escape rooms alongside three innovative outdoor experiences.

Players will work against the clock to solve puzzles and crack codes in a variety of themed adventures suitable for friends, families, celebrations, and corporate events. Among the indoor rooms are favorites like “Aladdin and the Magic Vault,” where participants seek to capture the mystical lamp; “Curse of the Pharaoh,” unveiling ancient secrets; and “Alice in Puzzleland,” a thrilling race to save the Mad Hatter.

The outdoor games include “City Hunt: Vampire Hunters,” “Time Cops,” and “Return to Wonderland,” designed for all ages to enjoy.

The venue is perfect for birthday parties, hen and stag celebrations, Christmas gatherings, and corporate activities, accommodating guests aged eight and above. Prices start at £21 per person, and children under eight can join the outdoor games for free.

Bookings for the new Escape Hunt location on Cannon Street are now open, providing Birmingham residents and visitors with a fresh, fun, and challenging entertainment option after the closure of other city centre attractions like Mulligans mini golf.

Address: 36-38 Cannon Street, Birmingham, B2 5EE.
