Mary Breen, an 85-year-old woman from Erdington, was admitted to Good Hope Hospital in Sutton Coldfield due to a swollen foot. During her stay, she experienced a fall on the ward, which resulted in a fractured femur. Unfortunately, her condition worsened as she contracted Covid-19 and developed hospital-acquired pneumonia. Mary did not recover from these complications and passed away in the hospital.
