E.ON Next has announced revised pricing for its Next Fixed 12-month, Next Smart Saver, and Next Steady tariffs, offering customers the potential to save an average of up to £230 compared to the current predictions for the July to September Energy Price Cap.
With these new rates, households across Birmingham and beyond can select tariffs tailored to their unique energy consumption patterns and needs.
The Next Smart Saver tariff, designed to encourage energy use during off-peak hours, is now priced at £1,622, down from £1,637 for a typical household. This tariff features three distinct electricity rates: Off-peak (5am–4pm, 7pm–2am) at 17.83 p/kWh, Super off-peak (2am–5am) at 13.32 p/kWh, and Peak (4pm–7pm) at 39.12 p/kWh. It also offers the flexibility of no exit fees if customers' circumstances change. This plan could save users up to £230 relative to E.ON Next’s projections for the upcoming price cap period, although these figures may vary as market conditions evolve.

The Next Fixed 12-month tariff is now priced at £1,626, reduced from £1,641, for a typical household consuming both gas and electricity. It carries a £50 per fuel external exit fee. Customers on this tariff could save approximately £226 against the expected July–September price cap and £15 compared to the current energy price cap, which stands at £1,641 for the period from April to June.
Finally, the Next Steady tariff will be available at £1,630 from July, down from £1,690. This plan also includes a £50 per fuel external exit fee and could save households up to £222 compared to the anticipated price cap for the upcoming quarter.
E.ON Next’s forecast anticipates that the energy price cap will rise by £211 to £1,852 in July, highlighting the value of these newly adjusted tariffs for cost-conscious consumers.
