DWP Offers Up to £187 Weekly for 13 Cardiovascular Conditions Through Personal Independence Payments

The Department for Work and Pensions (DWP) has identified 13 cardiovascular conditions that make individuals eligible for Personal Independence Payments (PIP), providing up to £187.45 per week in financial support.

Personal Independence Payment is a disability benefit designed for adults of working age with an illness, disability, or mental health condition. PIP is split into two components: daily living and mobility. Claimants may be entitled to payments for either or both, depending on their specific needs.

Payments are made every four weeks. For individuals qualifying for both the enhanced daily living and enhanced mobility rates, the total payment amounts to £749.80 per period—equivalent to £187.45 per week.
