West Midlands Police’s Priority Crime Team conducted a successful early morning raid at a residence on Herbert Road in Aldridge on Monday, December 22, uncovering a substantial cache of cannabis and related substances.
The warrant execution led officers to discover an extensive quantity of cannabis, suspected cannabis vapes, synthetic drugs, and cash hidden in an outbuilding at the property.
As a result, a 29-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to supply class B drugs. He remains in police custody and is currently being questioned.

A West Midlands Police spokesperson confirmed: “Following the warrant in Aldridge, we seized a significant amount of cannabis along with cash and synthetic substances. The 29-year-old suspect was arrested on suspicion of drug offenses and remains in our custody as investigations continue.”
Sgt Jason Pinches, supervisor of the Priority Crime Team, praised the operation, stating, “This seizure represents a major success in our efforts to disrupt drug supply.
