For adults, the spacious indoor picnic area offers a comfortable place to relax, especially on rainy or chilly days, while allowing families to save money by bringing their own food. Alternatively, the on-site café serves a variety of hot and cold drinks for a cozy refreshment break.
A Forge Mill Farm spokesperson shared, “You asked, so we built it! Our new Natural Play Barn and indoor picnic area are now open, featuring new toilets, indoor seating, a classroom, and a party room.”
Entry to the indoor play barn costs £3 for an hour-long session and is an add-on to the general admission ticket to the West Bromwich farm.
Beyond the play barn, Forge Mill Farm is home to over 300 animals, including rare breeds of cattle, sheep, pigs, and poultry. As a registered Rare Breeds Centre, the farm is dedicated to conserving these precious animals.
Visitors can enjoy a farm trail, interactive activities in the Discovery Barn, animal feeding sessions, and a host of seasonal events—especially popular during school holidays.
