Discover Peplow Hall: Shropshire’s Hidden Gem with a Unique David Beckham Connection Launching New Garden Breaks

Nestled in the tranquil countryside of Shropshire, Peplow Hall is a truly hidden gem in Market Drayton, boasting five beautifully restored luxury cottages and 64 acres of breathtaking gardens. Visitors can wander through themed spaces such as the kitchen garden, sunken garden, and woodland garden, all meticulously maintained and rich in character.

This summer, Peplow Hall is unveiling an exciting new five-day garden break, offering an exclusive itinerary featuring visits to some of England’s most celebrated gardens. A highlight is the world-renowned David Austin Roses, home to the specially commissioned Sir David Beckham rose. This unique bloom was created at the request of Beckham’s daughter, Harper, to commemorate his 50th birthday, lending an unusual and charming connection to the football legend.

The garden tour also includes the much-admired Wollerton Old Hall Garden, praised by BBC gardening experts Carol Klein and Monty Don for its stunning planting schemes, as well as the romantic Dorothy Clive Garden—a lovingly crafted sanctuary originally designed by Colonel Harry Clive for his wife Dorothy. Guests will also enjoy a private tour of Peplow Hall itself and visit the Grooms Cottage Garden, winner of the BBC Gardeners’ World 2024 People’s Choice Award.
