Cruz Beckham Shares Heartfelt Birthday Message Amid Family Rift

In a moving gesture amid ongoing family tensions, Cruz Beckham honored his older brother Brooklyn on his 27th birthday with a heartfelt Instagram post. The photo, showing a young Brooklyn gently holding baby Cruz, was accompanied by a simple but powerful message: “I love you,” alongside a celebration emoji.

This display of affection contrasts sharply with Brooklyn’s recent public statements. Earlier this year, Brooklyn shared a detailed Instagram story accusing his parents, David and Victoria Beckham, of being controlling and attempting to undermine his marriage to Nicola Peltz. He also alleged that his brothers, Cruz and Romeo, were used to attack him on social media. Prior to these revelations, relations had already soured, with both Cruz and Romeo blocking Brooklyn on social media platforms.

Despite Brooklyn’s estrangement and his decision to block his parents and brothers, Cruz and Romeo have remained steadfastly supportive of David and Victoria. The younger siblings accompanied their parents to family events, including Cruz’s own 21st birthday celebrations in February, which Brooklyn notably did not acknowledge.

On Cruz’s birthday, the family posted warm tributes online. Victoria Beckham wrote, “Celebrating Cruz early! We love you so much!” and David Beckham shared a smiling photo with the caption, “We love celebrating you Cruzie. A lot of love in the room for you.”

In spite of Brooklyn’s strained relationship with the family, David and Victoria marked his birthday as well, posting childhood photos with messages of love. David wrote, “27 today. Happy Birthday Bust. We love you x,” while Victoria added, “Happy Birthday Brooklyn, we love you so much.”

The ongoing discord reportedly escalated last year when Brooklyn sent a legal cease-and-desist letter to his parents demanding all communication be routed through lawyers, including social media interactions. Despite this, David and Victoria continued to engage with Brooklyn’s posts, which reportedly caused him distress.

Romeo Beckham also acknowledged Brooklyn’s birthday with a nostalgic photo from their childhood, though he posted it anonymously, without a caption.

Amid this complex family dynamic, Cruz’s simple “I love you” serves as a poignant reminder of fraternal bonds despite the fractures within the Beckham family.
