Excitement is building at Crufts as Day 3 concluded with the announcement of the Toy Group winner. Tonight’s judging showcased the charm and diversity of Toy breeds, famous for their compact size, varied coats, and distinctive personalities.
Toy dogs, often cherished as lap dogs, can be wary of other dogs but captivate audiences with their unique appeal. Historically, only four Toy breeds have clinched the coveted Best in Show title at Crufts, the latest being Papillon Dylan in 2019.
The 2026 Toy Group champion is Ellemich American Express, affectionately known as Dublin, a stunning Cavalier King Charles Spaniel owned by Mrs M & Miss T Chapman & Ireland. Dublin previously impressed judges by winning the Toy Group in 2023 as an 18-month-old and securing a place in the Best in Show final.

- Winner: Cavalier King Charles Spaniel - Ellemich American Express (Mrs M & Miss T Chapman & Ireland)
- Reserve: Affenpinscher - Sugarlane Gibbonback (Mr Ad & Mrs M Stewart & Boulcott)
- Third: Maltese - Benatone Glint of Gold (Miss S & Mrs R Jackson)
- Fourth: Italian Greyhound - Artemis Raise The Stakes (Mrs J B & Mrs H Amsel & Rishworth-Cutler)

- Winner: Papillon - Ch Gleniren Miracle Starmaker, known as Sophia (Mrs I & Mr G Robb)
- Reserve: Maltese - Am Ch It Ch Cinecitta Oliver Stone (Mr F Prosperi)
- Third: Pomeranian - Ch Lireva’s Wildest Dreams (Mrs A M Cawthera-Purdy)
- Fourth: Chihuahua (Smooth Coat) - Fr/ch/int Ch Definitely Maybe Drop It Like It’s Hot (Mr J, Miss M & Miss H Borges, Jolidon & Luy)
With the Toy Group winner now crowned, all eyes turn to the Best in Show final on Sunday night, where Dublin could continue the legacy of Toy breeds at Crufts.
