Complete List of 539 DWP Cold Weather Payment Postcodes – Some Receiving £50

The Department for Work and Pensions (DWP) has activated Cold Weather Payments for 539 postcodes this winter. The scheme, which runs annually from November through March, provides financial support to households in specific areas when the temperature drops to freezing (0°C) or below for seven straight days.

Several postcodes have experienced the cold threshold twice this season, making residents eligible for £50 payments instead of the standard £25. These include CA9, CA10, CA11, CA12, CA16, CA17, DG14, LA8, LA9, LA10, LA21, LA22, LA23, NE19, NE47, NE48, NE49, and TD9.

So far, payments have been triggered on five different days this winter. The most recent activation on December 30 affected numerous regions including AL, BB, BD, BN, CB, CO, DE, EN, GU, HD, HP, HX, IP, LS, LU, ME, OL, OX, RG, RH, S, SG, SK, SL, ST, TN, and WD postcode areas, among others.

Another activation occurred on January 6, again impacting the postcodes mentioned above.

These payments help offset increased heating costs during the coldest weeks of the year, providing vital support to vulnerable households.
