Chris Davies has lauded Birmingham City for the diverse ways they have been scoring goals, highlighting their latest 4-0 demolition of Millwall at St Andrew’s as a prime example.
Following their commanding 4-0 win against Portsmouth on Saturday, which featured clinical set-piece execution, Blues displayed a different attacking style against Millwall on Tuesday, breaking down their defence with fluid, free-flowing football.
Goals from Paik Seung-ho, Demarai Gray, Alex Cochrane, and Jay Stansfield thrilled the home crowd in yet another dazzling performance.

“I think it was another good performance,” said Davies. “Millwall are a really solid side with a high-energy, well-organised defensive approach and aggressive pressing. To score four goals against them while keeping a clean sheet is exceptional.”
Davies praised the team’s attacking variety: “We’ve looked very dangerous these past games, scoring from set pieces, counter-attacks, and building up play both slowly and quickly with effective crossing. Having multiple weapons is crucial because it keeps us unpredictable and effective in creating chances.”
Midfielder Paik Seung-ho drew particular attention by scoring twice across consecutive matches, silencing recent critics who had questioned his impact after a costly mistake against Bristol City. Davies expressed strong support for the South Korean star: “Football is full of opinions, but to have critics of Paik is ridiculous. He’s an outstanding player and has been vital for us.”
