Burglar Steals Over £150 from West Midlands Bakery in Late-Night Break-In

Staffordshire Police have issued CCTV images of a man wanted in connection with a burglary at a bakery in the West Midlands.

The break-in occurred at a business on Stafford Street in Brewood, South Staffordshire, during the late evening of Thursday, March 19. Authorities believe the thief forced entry between 11:00 pm and 11:15 pm and stole more than £150 in cash from the premises.

Officers were notified of the crime at approximately 2:45 am on Friday, March 20, and immediately started investigating. They have since reviewed CCTV footage captured inside the bakery in hopes of identifying the suspect.

A police spokesperson said: “We are releasing CCTV images of a man we want to speak to regarding this business burglary. The incident was reported at 2:45 am on Friday 20 March at a bakery on Stafford Street in Brewood. More than £150 was taken from the till sometime between 11 pm and 11:15 pm the previous night.

“Investigators promptly attended the scene and have obtained CCTV footage from inside the premises. We urge anyone who recognises this man or has information that can assist our inquiry to contact us on 101, quoting incident number 40 of 20 March.
