Body Found in Search for Missing Teen Near Canterbury Nature Reserve

Police have issued a sorrowful update regarding the search for a missing 18-year-old male near Canterbury. The teenager was reported missing on Friday, February 13, after last being spotted close to a local nature reserve. His car was later found parked at a nearby lot near Rough Common, adjacent to Blean Woods.

In the days that followed, extensive search efforts were conducted throughout the surrounding woodland areas. On Thursday, February 19, authorities discovered a body in Blean Woods. Although formal identification is pending, the family has been informed, and police have confirmed that the death is not currently treated as suspicious. A report will be submitted to the coroner for further examination.

This tragic news coincides with the passing of Tiger Duggan, a 23-year-old who had been battling life-threatening injuries following a collision in Western Australia. Originally from Milton Keynes, he had relocated to Perth two years prior. His family shared a heartfelt tribute, expressing gratitude to all who supported his journey through prayers, messages, and donations.

In a moving message posted on GoFundMe, Mary Duggan wrote, “Our son and brother lived life to the max! Our beautiful, soft-skinned, long-lashed boy with a cheeky, charming, infectious smile that touched everyone’s hearts left this dimension early this morning in my arms.”

She added that through Tiger’s selfless organ donations, three or four people will receive a second chance at life. The family has requested privacy as they grieve this profound loss.
