Bleach Attack Shocks Kidderminster Nightspot Following Eviction Incident

A shocking assault unfolded in Kidderminster when a man threw a bottle of bleach over another individual in the early hours of Sunday, December 7, at Nu Bar on New Road. The incident occurred shortly after the victim allegedly evicted the attacker from the venue around 3:20 a.m.

Following his removal, the assailant returned to the bar and violently attacked the victim by pouring bleach, causing chemical injuries, as well as scratching his face, neck, and arm. The victim sustained multiple injuries to the face and body, indicative of a deliberate and harmful assault.

West Mercia Police promptly arrested a 50-year-old man on suspicion of grievous bodily harm with intent. After police questioning, he has since been released under investigation pending further inquiries.
