The construction of Crown Place, a landmark £85 million student accommodation project in Birmingham, has officially been completed. Rising 33 stories, it now stands as the tallest student residence in the city, located at the corner of Lancaster Street. This purpose-built complex is set to become the premier housing option for students attending Aston University, Birmingham City University, and the University of Birmingham.
Operated by global student housing leader Yugo, Crown Place offers 814 beds across a mix of 572 studios, 114 cluster flats, and 128 duplex rooms. These accommodations are spread across the main 33-storey tower and adjacent nine- and 12-storey blocks, catering to a variety of student needs.
Beyond living spaces, the development boasts 13,000 square feet of amenities designed to enhance the student experience. These include study rooms, communal kitchens, private dining areas, lounges, cinema and karaoke rooms, a fully equipped gym, a first-floor terrace, and a sky lounge on the 33rd floor with stunning views of the Birmingham skyline.
