Birmingham Museum and Art Gallery is once again partnering with Dishoom to host a Diwali party in the heart of the city. The Festival of Light event takes place on Monday, 2 November, running from 7pm until 11.30pm at the museum located in Chamberlain Square.
Attendees can enjoy a vibrant evening with music provided by BBC Asian Network, ensuring a lively atmosphere to dance and celebrate. Tickets include a generous vegetarian or vegan feast, complemented by complimentary chai. Additionally, mehendi will be available for those interested.
A spokesperson for Dishoom described the event as their biggest and brightest Diwali party in Birmingham to date, featuring a glittering line-up curated by BBC Asian Network and hosted by Vallisa Chauhan.

Early-bird tickets are priced at £30 and will increase to £35 from 11 October. The event is suitable for guests aged 18 and over. Tickets and further information can be found on Dishoom’s website.
This celebration is one among several Diwali events scheduled across the Midlands. Earlier festivities include a gathering in Phoenix Park, Wolverhampton, on 10 October, and Birmingham’s major Diwali Mela on Soho Road in Handsworth on 25 October.
