A 24-year-old man from Birmingham, initially arrested on suspicion of murder following the death of a 34-year-old man at Barmouth beach in Wales, has been released on bail as investigations continue.
The tragic incident occurred shortly after 3 pm on Monday, May 25, involving the victim who sadly died after an incident in the water at the popular seaside location. Specialist officers are providing support to the victim’s family during this difficult time.
North Wales Police have appealed for witnesses to come forward with any information that could assist the ongoing inquiry. Detective Superintendent Chris Bell expressed gratitude to the public for their cooperation and urged anyone present at the beach between 2 pm and 4 pm, or anyone with photos or videos from the area, to contact the police.
