Since joining the series in March 2024, the duo quickly captured the hearts of viewers. Broadcasting from their cozy home in Solihull, Birmingham, Teresa and Anita are renowned for their witty commentary and infectious charm. Anita is often seen knitting during episodes, while Teresa keeps a stash of treats nearby, creating a warm and relatable dynamic that fans adore.
Beyond the screen, the pair engage with their followers on Instagram, sharing glimpses of their life beyond television. Their love for the outdoors shines through in frequent posts featuring scenic walks and their beloved pet dog.

On January 31, Teresa took to Instagram with a playful post to signal the impending start of Gogglebox’s 27th series, set to premiere on Friday, February 6 at 9 pm on Channel 4. Accompanying a humorous photo of Anita caught in wooden stocks during a dog walk, Teresa wrote: “I suppose I had better release Anita from the stocks so we can start filming again. Can’t wait for the return of the wonderful @c4gogglebox next Friday, 9pm CH4. Don’t forget your snacks, folks!”

This new series comes after a major cast reshuffle in September 2025, which saw long-standing members Roisin Kelly and Joe Kyle exit the show. Fresh faces have since joined, including Jake and Calum from Glasgow, the Gordon family from Surrey, and married couple Andrew and Alfie from the Cotswolds. Yorkshire’s mother-and-daughter-in-law team, Sara and Lara, have also recently been welcomed.
