Domino’s in Birmingham has issued a formal apology following a distressing incident at its Selly Oak branch, where a customer found a reference to the Ku Klux Klan (KKK) on her pizza box. Charmaine Porter, the customer involved, reported that the offensive phrase appeared not only on the box but also on the order screen.
According to Ms. Porter, when she raised the issue with the staff, they allegedly responded with laughter instead of addressing her concerns seriously. This behavior has sparked outrage, highlighting concerns about sensitivity and professionalism in customer service.
Domino’s has since responded, stating that they do not tolerate such offensive language or conduct in any of their stores. The company has promised to investigate the incident thoroughly and take appropriate disciplinary action to ensure such incidents do not happen again.
