Birmingham Airport has announced an exciting addition to its summer 2027 route lineup: direct flights to La Rochelle, France, operated by Jet2. Starting from 22nd May until 25th September, travellers can enjoy weekly Saturday services to this charming French coastal city.
Announcing the news on Instagram, Birmingham Airport shared, “@jet2pics says Bonjour to La Rochelle after joining Summer 2027 line-up from Birmingham Airport.” Jet2 is expanding its French offerings next summer, including access to several Eurocamp parks in central France.
La Rochelle is described as a hidden gem on France’s west coast, boasting peaceful countryside, pine forests, rolling vineyards, and picturesque riverside towns. Visitors can also explore nearby Ile-de-Ré, known for its beautiful cycling trails and sandy beaches, making it an ideal summer destination.
