Birmingham’s cherished independent eatery, The Indian Streatery, is set to open a brand-new location at Resorts World, marking an exciting expansion for this beloved restaurant.
Originally established on Bennetts Hill in 2017, The Indian Streatery has become renowned for its authentic Punjabi cuisine, Indian tapas, and vibrant street food. Its dishes have not only won over locals but also captured the attention of distinguished guests, including the Prince and Princess of Wales.
The upcoming branch will bring the same exceptional flavors and quality to the NEC side of the city, conveniently located near the BP Pulse LIVE arena. This new venue promises to maintain the restaurant’s signature street food style while introducing exclusive new dishes crafted especially for Resorts World visitors.
In addition to a fresh menu, the new location will feature a rotating selection of locally brewed craft beers, catering to the evolving tastes of Birmingham’s food enthusiasts. Despite the expansion, The Indian Streatery is committed to preserving its independent, family-run spirit that has made its original location a local favourite.
The restaurant shared its excitement on social media: “After months of planning, building, and tasting (the important part), we’re thrilled to announce our arrival at Resorts World. This is a huge step for us, and we couldn’t have done it without your support from day one. We can’t wait to welcome you through our doors.”
The Indian Streatery’s new branch is expected to open in spring, bringing a taste of Punjab alongside a contemporary dining experience to Birmingham’s entertainment hotspot.
