In observance of Remembrance Sunday, the Band of the Royal Air Force Regiment joined the Professional Dancers for a moving group performance to Sam Fender’s “Remember My Name.” This tribute struck a deep chord with fans, especially because Amy Dowden — currently taking a break from the competition as she recovers from her second mastectomy — appeared in this pre-recorded routine from August.

Social media was awash with heartfelt reactions. The night’s excitement culminated in a tense dance-off between Harry Aikines-Aryeetey and Karen Hauer, and La Voix with Aljaž Škorjanec. La Voix and Aljaž reprised their elegant Foxtrot to “Make Your Own Kind of Music” by Cass Elliot, while Harry and Karen delivered a lively Samba to Gloria Estefan’s “Samba.”
After a unanimous judges’ vote, La Voix was saved, sending Harry home in a deeply emotional farewell. Reflecting on his journey, the Olympic sprinter and Gladiator shared, “Karen, you have given me an opportunity to shine. You understood my crazy brain. I just want to thank you for all the hard work and for this dream come true.”
He went on to reveal how much the experience meant to him, especially for his daughter, who was upset seeing him sad. “I wanted to show everyone that, no matter what happens, there’s always a silver lining,” he said.
Tears also welled in Karen’s eyes as she spoke of their partnership. “I am extremely proud. You’re a gentleman, a hard worker, and it was an honour to teach you,” she said warmly.
