Asda is encouraging new online grocery shoppers to act quickly to take advantage of a limited-time discount offer that could save them up to £55. The promotion, which is valid until 11:59 pm on Saturday, January 31, requires customers to use their first £20 discount code before the deadline.
This special deal is exclusively available to customers who have never previously ordered groceries from Asda’s website. The offer is limited to the first 23,000 customers who sign up, and it’s possible that the promotion could end earlier once this cap is reached.
The discount scheme includes a series of eVouchers spread across four separate online grocery shops. After the initial qualifying order, customers will receive follow-up discount codes via email, each valid for two weeks from the date issued. By spending a total of £240 or more across these four orders, shoppers can save a combined £55.

An Asda spokesperson explained the motivation behind the offer: “We know many households are looking for ways to make their money go further. That’s why we’re offering new online customers up to £55 off their first few shops, giving them better value on everyday essentials and their favourite brands, without needing a loyalty card.”
Money Saving Expert, founded by consumer advocate Martin Lewis, highlighted the flexibility of the promotion: “You don’t have to complete all four shops — you can simply use the initial £20 off when you spend £60 or more if that suits you.” However, they caution that because the promotion is capped, customers should act promptly instead of waiting until the last minute.
