Asda is revolutionizing the in-store shopping experience with a major redesign at its Harrogate Bower Road location, marking the first phase of a £12 million investment across Yorkshire. The store has officially reopened following a comprehensive £2 million refurbishment aimed at making shopping easier and more enjoyable.
Key upgrades include significantly wider aisles, distinctively marked sections, and clearer signage to help customers navigate the store effortlessly. Additionally, new feature lighting and sleek, modern signage enhance the store’s overall atmosphere, providing a fresh, inviting environment for shoppers.
Liz Evans, Asda’s Chief Commercial Officer, highlighted the importance of the initiative, stating, “We’re thrilled to welcome customers to our newly upgraded Harrogate store – the first in our extensive investment rollout throughout Yorkshire and nearby areas. Asda started here 60 years ago, so investing in our local communities holds special meaning for us. Our goal is to create stores that feel fresh, easy to shop, and offer great value for families.”
