Asda has once again delighted festive shoppers by introducing a new giant Christmas treat to its growing lineup of supersized seasonal items. The latest indulgence, a Raspberry & White Chocolate Giant Eclair, has quickly caught the attention of customers for its impressive size and tempting flavors.
One enthusiastic shopper shared a photo of the decadent dessert on Newfoodsuk, revealing the generous raspberry and cream filling nestled within the choux pastry. The Facebook post read: “New Raspberry & White Chocolate Giant Eclair from Asda! This is huge! The white chocolate works so well with the raspberry! Now available at Asda!”
Asda describes the eclair as “Choux pastry with a sweet white chocolate mousse and raspberry filling, topped with Belgian white chocolate fondant and finished with white chocolate and freeze-dried raspberry pieces.”

Priced at £8.68 for a two-pack, some customers expressed concerns about the cost. One commenter admitted their excitement faded after seeing the price: “Well I did want one till I seen the price.” Another, an ex-chef, joked, “At that price they can keep it. I’ll make my own.”
Despite some reservations, the majority of shoppers seemed thrilled by the treat, with many declaring their Christmas dessert plans “sorted.” Comments praised the eclair’s appearance and flavor, with one saying, “Now that’s my kind of eclair,” and another insisting, “I need to go to Asda!”
This isn’t Asda’s first foray into oversized festive foods this season. The supermarket recently introduced a Festive Foot Long Sausage Roll — a 400g puff pastry wrapped log of seasoned sausage meat, topped with parsley and costing £3.98. Available nationwide and online, it can be served hot or cold, offering a versatile twist on a classic bakery favorite.
With these giant treats on offer, Asda is making it easy for customers to add a memorable touch to their Christmas celebrations.
