Arrests Made Following Police Raid Uncovering Drugs, Nitrous Oxide, and Cash in Penkridge

Two individuals have been arrested after officers uncovered a significant stash of drugs during a police raid in Penkridge.

At around 9:30am on Tuesday, February 3, members of shift one from the South Staffordshire local policing team executed a search on a property located off Wolgarston Way. The operation resulted in the seizure of approximately 200 snap bags of cannabis, suspected Class A drugs, canisters of nitrous oxide, and a notable amount of cash.

A 23-year-old man and a 21-year-old woman, both residents of Penkridge, were taken into custody on suspicion of possession with intent to supply Class B drugs. They remain in police custody as investigations continue.

Lee Walker, commander of the South Staffordshire local policing team, stated, “This seizure removes a large quantity of illegal substances from our streets, helping to protect the community. Our commitment to tackling the supply of drugs in South Staffordshire remains unwavering.”
