The incident unfolded on the evening of Friday, January 13, when the attacker, wearing a hi-vis jacket marked ‘POLICE,’ knocked on the door before forcibly entering the residence. The male and female occupants were threatened with a firearm and assaulted as the intruder demanded cash.
A neighbour, who chose to remain anonymous, described the harrowing event: “The man posed as a police officer and forced his way inside wearing a hi-vis jacket with ‘POLICE’ on the back.
