A 10-year-old girl was seriously injured in a dog attack in Bolton, prompting armed police to respond to the scene. The girl was rushed to hospital with injuries described by authorities as potentially life-changing.
The incident occurred on Wednesday, February 4, at approximately 3:30 p.m. on Roseneath Road in the Great Lever area. Emergency services, including paramedics, armed officers, and the Greater Manchester Police Dog Unit, arrived swiftly to manage the situation.
Two dogs were detained at the scene, and a 28-year-old man and a 52-year-old woman have been arrested on suspicion of possessing a dog dangerously out of control. Both suspects are currently in custody and are being questioned concerning the attack.
