Aldi is bringing back its much-loved wooden toy collection starting May 17, with a strict “two per person” purchase limit due to high demand. The range features exciting new additions including the Wooden Outdoor BBQ (£24.99) with BBQ Food Accessories (£9.99), the Mud Kitchen (£34.99) and its Accessories (£9.99), and the Wooden Shop Front (£29.99) alongside various role play sets (£14.99). Also launching is the Messy Play Picnic Bench (£34.99), perfect for outdoor fun.
To celebrate the return, Aldi is inviting children across the UK to apply for the inaugural role of Wooden Toy Tester. This unique position will allow a young toy enthusiast to share their thoughts on the toys and imagine creative playtime scenarios, including dishes they would “cook” in the toy kitchen.
Julie Ashfield, Aldi UK’s Chief Commercial Officer, highlighted the popularity of the wooden toys and the importance of engaging with their youngest customers: “We’re excited to appoint our first ever Wooden Toy Tester to capture their experience and discover what makes the perfect playtime set-up, promising plenty of giggles and fun.”
